Biography

Anne works closely with the firm's Intellectual Property Group to manage and maintain clients' varied patent and trademark portfolios.

Anne assists with the preparation and filing of U.S. and international patent applications, patent prosecution, payment of patent maintenance fees, trademark searching, preparation of trademark applications, trademark prosecution, trademark renewals, preparation of copyright applications, and managing and maintaining patent and trademark docketing systems.

Prior to her arrival at Verrill, Anne spent 12 years at a small firm in Portland. Her work was primarily with civil litigation and corporate law. Anne is a 2001 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, and earned a Patent Paralegal Certificate in 2016.

In her free time, Anne enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her son's school, trying new restaurants, running, and baking.
