Biography

Ashley joined Verrill in 2021 as a Litigation Paralegal and assists the firm and its clients throughout all aspects of litigation, from initial file review through case resolution.

Ashley’s primary focus is medical malpractice. Specifically, she is responsible for reviewing and summarizing medical records and preparing for depositions and other prospective hearings until the case is resolved.

Ashley graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with and a minor in criminology. Upon graduating, she worked as a paralegal handling criminal and family law matters before accepting a position as a workers’ compensation insurance adjuster. In this position, Ashley was responsible for obtaining and reviewing medical records to determine a claim’s compensability, handling mediations on denied claims, as well as pricing claims for settlement.

When not in the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dogs and husband at their home in Gray, Maine. In the summer months you are likely to find her boating the Kennebec River or Sebago Lake with her friends and family.
