Maine Rural Water Association Annual Conference with Verrill Attorney Mathew J. Todaro

Verrill Attorney Mathew J. Todaro, along with two others, will be presenting at the Maine Rural Water Association’s 41st Annual Conference and Trade Show. Their presentation, “PFAS and Practicality Regulatory Updates with a Case Study”, will focus on recent legislation passed in our state and what it means for utilities, both large and small. The interactive class will feature discussion on the current regulatory landscape, how one Maine utility faced the issue, and the overall impact on the industry. Attendees are encouraged to participate and ask questions throughout this informative seminar.

Maine Rural Water Association is a member-based organization created in 1979 with the goal of providing technical assistance and training to small water and wastewater utilities. As a non-profit trade association, they advocate for members’ interests at the local, state, and federal levels. They have a 12 member Board of Directors that represent over 400 entities in the industry.

Mathew J. Todaro is a Verrill attorney with experience in a variety of areas, with a focus on environmental and land use issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association: Section on Environmental, Energy and Resources. He is a admitted to the Connecticut, Maine and Massachusetts Bars.
