(February 8, 2021) – Verrill attorney Eugene Ho was honored as a “Go To Business Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

The inaugural list, which is part of the publication’s new “Massachusetts Go To Lawyers” feature, showcases leaders in the Massachusetts legal community who practice business law. Attorneys were nominated by their colleagues and chosen by a panel from Lawyers Weekly.

Over his years of practice, Ho has gained significant transactional experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, sales and divestitures, joint venture arrangements, commercial loan transactions, and private offerings. He also advises start-ups and entrepreneurs on entity formation matters, founder issues, and business planning and strategy. Ho frequently serves as outside general counsel to businesses in a wide variety of industries, including health care, telecommunications, manufacturing, software, and technology.

Outside the office, Ho is an active member of the community. He is a past president of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Community Development Corporation, which is the leading regional developer and preserver of affordable housing in areas of Greater Boston with high concentrations of Asian Americans.
