2019 Information Privacy in Practice

On May 31, health care attorney Andrew Rusczek spoke at the University of Maine's 2019 Information Privacy in Practice event during a session called "Using Data Ethically and Legally." Andrew presented with Gabe Maldoff, Associate of Bird & Bird, Boris Segalis, Partner of Cooley, and Mitchell Noordyke, Westin Fellow of IAPP. The panel explored ways in which institutions can and cannot use data for innovation and diving into legal exceptions for such activities as fraud detection, and more.
