Verrill attorney Tawny L. Alvarez recently attended The American Bar Association's 2022 National Conference on Equal Employment Opportunity Law where she was a panelist on "Ethics Issues Related to Practicing Law Remotely." The panel explored the lawyer’s obligation to use technology to maintain the confidentiality of the lawyer’s communications with clients and client documents and ensure competent representation and jurisdictional issues with respect to remote practice.
