During the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) Leadership Training hybrid event hosted on Friday, August 20 at the Madison Beach Hotel in Madison, CT, in addition to via Zoom. During the event, the CBA Executive Committee, Chairpersons of CBA Sections and Committees, Section Treasurers, and Section Education Liaisons learned how to accomplish their goals, how to work with the media as a CBA leader, areas for collaboration among Sections and Committees, and more. Verrill attorney Andrew Nevas joined a panel entitled, "Essentials of Planning your Bar Year," which included a discussion on expectations for Sections and finances, financial planning, benefits of membership, and partnering with organizations and sponsors.
