As a result, there is currently a morass around what is permitted and where. This course will explore the history of the UIGEA, its interplay with related federal statutes, such as the Federal Wiretap Law and the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, its exceptions, enforcement, and types of gambling affected, from fantasy sports to online sports betting to online casinos and lotteries.
