Navigating Employee Concerns Around the Return to Work
On June 25, employment and labor attorney Ben Ford will be speaking with the Manufacturers Association of Maine members on how to navigate employee concerns when returning to work during COVID-19. While remote employees return to their historical physical work location, or employees on layoff return to work, many may have concerns about the steps the employer is taking to maintain safety and health.
During the webinar we will focus on:
- Understanding the organization’s obligations under state and federal leave laws including the FFCRA, the FMLA, and the Maine FMLA.
- Understanding the organization’s duties and responsibilities to employees at higher risk of contracting COVID-19 or with other serious health conditions or disabilities.
- Effectively communicating expectations to limit future possible complaints or allegations of whistleblower retaliation.
