WEBINAR: When A Crisis Strikes: Conducting (& Communicating) An Effective Internal Investigation

April 14, 2020
Online
Employment-related claims are on the rise – from sexual harassment to discrimination to wage and hour suits. In the eye of a crisis or when facing any claim against the company or employee(s), the in house legal team is one of the many important players that need to act quickly, and effectively.

This webinar will provide in house counsel with the insights they need to not only conduct a successful internal investigation, but to also document the process, and take appropriate action based on the results of the investigation. In the digital era, things can become public rather quickly, causing detrimental effects to the company regardless of the legal outcome that are hard to overcome. This webinar will also explore the balance between the legal investigation and obligations, and reputation management, including the role of spokesperson when a crisis strikes. Verrill attorneys Doug Currier and Mike Saxl will be speaking.
