Dan’s active practice currently includes the representation of the following clients:

  • A large regional owner of apartment building complexes in connection with the development, financing, acquisition, and disposition of multi-family residential properties, including projects with an affordable component developed pursuant to Chapter 40B of the Massachusetts General Laws
  • A major Massachusetts-based defense contractor, as outside counsel in the acquisition and disposition of real estate holdings
  • A national telecommunications company, acting as outside counsel in the leasing, acquisition and sale of real estate throughout New England, and licensing of tower facilities in the northeastern United States
  • A local university, providing ongoing representation and advice in connection with its real estate holdings

Among Dan’s past projects are the following:

  • Development of an air rights condominium involving a local university and private development entities
  • Expansion of a waterfront convention facility involving the development of hotel, garage and office components on ground leased parcels
  • Development of a new world-wide headquarters facility on a ground leased parcel of land for a major U.S. company
  • Modifications to and enlargement of an electronics research and development facility pursuant to a long-term lease arrangement within a condominium ownership structure
  • Transfer of several railroad lines spanning the eastern and western portions of Massachusetts
  • Sale of a downtown office tower via a transfer of air rights and creation of a reciprocal easement and restriction arrangement
  • Representation of anchor tenant in lease of office space in new downtown tower
