Verrill Dana Welcomes Litigation Attorney Katherine McDonough

(June 25, 2019) – Verrill Dana is pleased to welcome attorney Katherine (Katie) McDonough to the firm’s Portland office. A member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Group, McDonough represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of civil matters, including medical malpractice, complex commercial litigation and catastrophic personal injury. She is involved in all steps of case management, assisting with trial preparation and comprehensive legal research and writing.

Most recently, McDonough worked at a private practice litigation firm where she participated in the representation of individuals in personal injury, medical malpractice and employment litigation. During law school, she represented numerous victims of domestic violence pro bono and successfully defended a New Hampshire Supreme Court appeal.

McDonough earned her bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College and her law degree from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) School of Law, where she competed on the UNH National Trial team and graduated from the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors program.
