September 19, 2017 Media Mentions

Verrill Dana attorney Paul Shaw was quoted in an article featured in the online publication Law360 entitled "Medical Co. Employee Defends Retaliation Claim in FCA Case." The article discusses a medical company employee's recent defense of a retaliation claim in which the employee argues that her employer engaged in "adverse employment action" after the company learned of the employee's participation in a Federal Claims Act suit. Paul Shaw, who represents the employee, was quoted in the article, "We believe that we've established a very viable claim for retaliation and we're confident that after a hearing the judge will deny the motion and the case will proceed to trial."
