Available Take-Home Methadone Doses for Patients

Attorney Jim Cohen was mentioned in a Portland Press Herald article, "Methadone restrictions relaxed during pandemic, but not for everyone." The article describes the recent relaxed federal restrictions for the drug, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, allowing some patients to obtain longer supplies.

“Clinics that are part of our coalition have been actively working for ways to efficiently allow for more take home doses consistent with federal guidelines,” Jim said. “But there still needs to be case-by-case evaluation.”
