Jim Cohen was quoted in an October 23, 2017 article published by Microgrid Knowledge entitled "Maine Legislative Committee to Consider Community Microgrids as a 'Force for Good.'" In the article, Jim comments in his role as lobbyist for Emera, Maine's largest utility, that "Microgrids will offer some interesting opportunities for utilities and our customers. For example, microgrids in future could provide local reliability benefits during outage situations, which could be particularly advantageous for critical load customers such as hospitals, military bases, and public safety facilities."
