Maine to Expand Access to Medication-Assisted Addiction Treatment
A December 20 report from Maine Public about a Maine Department of Health and Human Services decision to provide funds that will enable additional access to medication-assisted addiction treatment features a quote from Verrill Dana attorney Jim Cohen who represents a coalition of methadone clinics in the state. Jim commented that although the funding is a positive step forward, there is still work to be done to address addiction issues in Maine.
