Needed Improvement from the Probate & Family Court
On January 28, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly published an article, "Frustrated bar seeks Probate & Family Court fixes," discussing the frustrations lawyers are having with the Probate & Family Court; the experiences include unanswered phone calls and filings that go undocketed for too long. Some have spoken out about the issues the court continues to have, including from Verrill family law attorney Regina Hurley saying, "They don’t have the resources financially, or in terms of judges or staff, to serve the people who come into the court every day."
