Jim Cohen was part of a roundtable discussion hosted by Gregg Lagerquist of WGME, on the role of the elected mayor in Portland. The event, called "Power in Portland," was livestreamed for 1 hour, commercial free on WGME.com and was rebroadcast on television. Jim was invited based on his role as a former mayor and as Vice Chair of the Portland Charter Commission, which developed the current system where voters can directly elect their mayor for a 4-year term.
