Verrill Dana Promotes Benjamin E. Ford to Counsel

(November 11, 2016) – Verrill Dana has promoted attorney Benjamin E. Ford to counsel.

Ford's litigation and trial work focuses on labor and employment, maritime and litigation issues. In addition, he has been instrumental in building the firm's North Atlantic & Arctic Group, which launched last year. Over the past year, he has taken three trips to the Arctic region to meet with businesses and institutions looking to do business in and protect the North Atlantic.

Ford joined Verrill Dana in 2009 as an associate, after working as a summer associate at the firm and interning at the Maine Office of the Attorney General. Prior to a career in the legal field, he worked for 15 years in the marine industry. Ford received his law degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law and earned his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire.
