July 30, 2019 Press Releases

(July 30, 2019) – After the recent recognition from Law360 as one of the top law firms in the country for female partners, Verrill Dana has again been recognized as one of the top law firms in the country for gender equality by The National Law Journal in the 2019 "NLJ 500 Women's Scorecard." The National Law Journal also ranked the firm as a top law firm for women in the 2017 and 2018 Scorecards.

Nearly 39% of the attorneys and 39% of the partners at Verrill Dana are women, exceeding national statistics by approximately 2.5% and 15.5% respectively.

The National Law Journal uses a Women in Law Score to rank the firms, which is determined by adding the percentage of female attorneys and percentage of female partners.

Verrill Dana was also named a 2017 Law360 "Ceiling Smasher," and was ranked in Law360's 2016 and 2015 Glass Ceiling Reports.
