Verrill Welcomes Attorney Danielle Starr

(October 23, 2019) – Verrill is pleased to welcome attorney Danielle Starr to the firm’s Portland office.

As a member of both Verrill’s Real Estate Group and Private Clients Group, Starr focuses her practice on all aspects of residential and commercial transactions, estate planning, estate administration, and prenuptial agreements.

Prior to joining Verrill, Starr worked as a family law attorney in Boston for six years. She served as the Treasurer and then the Vice President to the Greater Boston Family Law Inn of Court and on the Boston Bar Association Family Law Section Steering Committee. She was selected by peers for inclusion in New England Super Lawyers from 2017 to 2019, and was included in Boston Magazine’s Top Women Lawyers in Massachusetts in 2018 and 2019.

Starr received her bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, where she served as the Class of 2008 Social Chair and was the recipient of The Candace Carlucci Award for her energy and enthusiasm towards the preservation of the college community, and she currently serves as the Class of 2008 Fund Chair. She earned her law degree at New England Law | Boston and was a member of the school’s Honors Judicial Internship Program, serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Randy J. Kaplan of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court.
