Weston Firefighter Robert Laplaca Recognized for Public Service
The Weston Forum recently published an article on Robert Laplaca's Roger A. Putnam Community Service Award and his charitable work. The article discussed Robert's unwavering commitment to public service as a volunteer firefighter with the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
In the article, K.C. Jones, managing partner of Verrill Dana, remarked on Robert's strong commitment to his community. K.C. explained, "Rob embodies public service and devotes substantial efforts to his community...We thank him for his commitment and hope that his efforts inspire others to support the causes that are important to them."
Verrill Dana created The Roger A. Putnam Community Service Award in 2014 in honor of Verrill Dana attorney Roger Putnam, whose more than 40 years of service to the firm have exemplified the ideals of service to the community and to the legal profession. The award is given annually to recognize a Verrill Dana attorney or staff member who embodies the spirit of community service through volunteerism, leadership inside or outside the firm, fundraising and advocacy.
