Biography
Tom understands the human component of wealth transfer and estate planning and works with clients to structure their giving to accommodate their needs.
Tom values a team approach and works collaboratively with colleagues and advisors to best serve his clients. Whether its tax-efficiency, charitable giving, or ensuring the camp stays in the family, Tom uses his research and drafting skills to find creative solutions for clients.
Before going to law school, Tom taught kindergarten for seven years and K-2 science for one year. He is originally from Dayton, Maine, where his entire family still resides. When he is not visiting them, he spends his time running, reading books and watching movies, hiking, and working on his creative writing.
He currently lives in Portland with twenty plants and room in his heart for more.
