Carissa Rubin
Paralegal
As a bankruptcy paralegal, her day-to-day work focuses on effectively managing cases from intake through closing. Core responsibilities include matter tracking; drafting, reviewing, and filing court documents; monitoring case deadlines; and maintaining organized, comprehensive case files to ensure efficient access and ongoing case administration. Carissa also provides wide-ranging support to attorneys throughout case proceedings and regularly facilitates communication among all parties involved in a bankruptcy matter.
Prior to joining Verrill, Carissa spent 17 years working extensively with high-volume consumer caseloads as well as complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, shaping her ability to adapt to a wide range of client needs. She is a collaborative team player who works closely with attorneys, colleagues, and court personnel to promote efficiency and deliver thoughtful, solutions-oriented support.
Outside of the office, Carissa is a health and fitness enthusiast who enjoys all forms of movement and exercise. She has been a certified yoga instructor for 25 years and is also a licensed massage therapist.
