Associate
Clayton Brite represents clients in a broad range of commercial and residential real estate matters throughout Massachusetts. His practice focuses on commercial lending, construction financing, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and real estate development. He regularly advises lenders, borrowers, developers, landlords, and tenants on complex transactions involving commercial, industrial, and residential properties, including condominium creation and conversion projects. Clayton also counsels clients on easement, title, access, and boundary matters, as well as transactions in the solar energy, telecommunications, and health care sectors.
In addition to his transactional work, Clayton represents clients before the Massachusetts Land Court, where he has successfully obtained approvals of S-Petitions, Complaints for New Certificates, and other complex land-related matters. His experience allows him to guide clients through both the strategic and procedural aspects of resolving title and property disputes.
Before joining Verrill, Clayton practiced at a boutique real estate law firm concentrating on commercial and residential transactions. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. While in law school, he participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic, representing indigent clients in contested matters.
Outside the office, Clayton is an avid golfer and hockey fan who enjoys supporting his alma mater at Northeastern Huskies games.
