Grady Hogan
Associate
As a member of the Environmental, Land Use, and Regulatory group, Grady advises clients on a broad range of regulatory and environmental issues. His practice includes regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental litigation, and defense of civil and administrative enforcement actions. Grady routinely advises clients on Federal environmental statues – including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and CERCLA – and their state counterparts.
In addition to his environmental practice, Grady assists clients in other administrative settings and in highly regulated industries. He regularly represents renewable energy developers before the Public Utilities Commission and assists cannabis businesses navigate the shifting regulatory landscape at the federal level and secure state licenses and municipal approvals. Grady also assists with OSHA compliance and defense.
During law school, Grady worked as a Student Attorney at the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic representing clients in asylum and special immigrant juvenile status matters. His experience also includes legal internships with the Office of the Maine Attorney General and the City of Portland’s Corporation Counsel. After graduating from law school Grady clerked for the Honorable Wayne Douglas, Richard Mulhern, and James Martemucci of the Maine Superior Court.
When not working, Grady can be found running, surfing, biking, or canoeing one of Maine’s many rivers.
