        Julia Gaffney Julia Gaffney

Julia is a dedicated advocate for her clients, using her extensive legal research and writing skills to provide the best possible representation throughout the course of litigation.

Julia’s practice spans a broad range of legal disciplines. She has a comprehensive familiarity with appellate matters and procedure.

Before joining Verrill, Julia served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Serge Georges, Jr., of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Honorable Eric Neyman of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. While attending law school, Julia served as a legal intern in the Public Defender Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, and also held the position of Managing Editor of the Northeastern University Law Review.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her loved ones and cooking for them (a talent she inherited from her mother). She also finds balance through fitness, especially running, strength training, and yoga. Finally, she has a love for travel, but always enjoys returning home to New England, where she was born and raised.
