Sarah J. Tewksbury
Paralegal and E-Discovery Specialist
Sarah Tewksbury is a seasoned e-discovery specialist and paralegal with extensive experience in civil litigation and administrative law. She has a proven ability to manage complex legal matters, including working closely with clients, drafting legal documents, managing the discovery process, and preparing for and attending judicial proceedings. Sarah works closely with attorneys on cases before state and federal courts. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail enable her to handle large caseloads effectively, ensuring attorneys are well-prepared at every stage of litigation.
As the firm’s e-discovery specialist, Sarah is responsible for managing Verrill’s e-discovery platform and maintaining vendor relationships. She is proficient in a variety of e-discovery matters, including substantive document review, creating and maintaining case workspaces, managing large volumes of files, training attorneys, producing documents, and troubleshooting issues. As a creative problem solver, Sarah is always willing to find a solution to any discovery-related issue.
Sarah’s curiosity and commitment to the law make her adaptable to cases across a wide range of subject matters. She has experience with construction litigation, labor and employment litigation, personal injury matters, products liability, and professional liability matters.
In addition to being a full-time member of Verrill’s staff, she is a three-quarters-time student at Maine Law. Sarah remains undecided as to the area of law she intends to practice and has a wide berth of interests, including construction litigation, criminal prosecution, and representing survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
Sarah lives in rural Maine with her fiancé and their two cats, Ernie and Swamp. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys playing board games, knitting, and cross-country skiing.
