As a member of Verrill’s Trial and Litigation Group, Brian applies his problem-solving and communication skills acquired from a background in education and coaching to find the right solutions for his clients. He is dedicated to working with clients to create and advance the most effective strategies unique to the circumstances to achieve his client’s goals.
Before attending law school, Brian was a high school social studies teacher and basketball coach.
During law school, Brian was a student attorney for the Youth Justice Clinic of the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, and a judicial extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Karen F. Wolf of the United States District Court for the District of Maine. He also competed on Maine Law’s Trial Competition Team. After graduating from the University of Maine School of Law, Brian clerked for the Honorable James Martemucci and Richard Mulhern of the Maine Superior Court.
Brian lives in Saco with his wife Danny, their two children, Harper and Tass, and their dog, Oakley. He enjoys fly-fishing, camping, and hiking. Brian is a huge sports fan, and as a native of Colorado, enjoys cheering on the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, and Rockies.
