Nimra’s skillset across research and writing, and background in legal, compliance, and consulting, provides valuable insights into these areas – assisting clients in navigating complex legal and business challenges.
Before joining Verrill, Nimra graduated from George Washington University with a B.B.A. and served as a federal consultant at IBM on project management and strategic communications initiatives.
During her time in law school, Nimra developed diverse experience across corporate and transactional matters at a boutique law firm and compliance roles at financial institutions. She further worked with clients through pro bono work with Sanctuary for Families’ Courtroom Advocates Project and New York Law School’s Marriage License Project, representing domestic violence and identity theft victims. Nimra also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Family Law Quarterly, overseeing and supporting the publication of several issues of the journal published by the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association.
New York Law School recognized her commitment to leadership with the Dean’s Award for Student Leadership and distinguished service to the legal profession with the Alexander D. Forger Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession.
Outside of the office, Nimra enjoys cooking new recipes, going to fitness classes, exploring new restaurants and cafes, and spending quality time with friends and family.
