Verrill Welcomes Business Restructuring and Insolvency Attorney Nimra Tariq

BOSTON, Massachusetts – Verrill is pleased to announce that Nimra Tariq has joined the firm’s Business Restructuring and Insolvency Group as an Associate, resident in the firm’s Boston office. Tariq joined Verrill earlier this year and was recently admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
As a member of Verrill’s growing Business Restructuring and Insolvency Group, Tariq will work with the team to assist clients in navigating complex legal and business challenges.
During law school, Tariq developed diverse experience across corporate and transactional matters at a boutique law firm and compliance roles at financial institutions. She further worked with clients through pro bono work with Sanctuary for Families’ Courtroom Advocates Project and New York Law School’s Marriage License Project, representing domestic violence and identity theft victims. Tariq also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Family Law Quarterly, overseeing and supporting the publication of several issues of the journal published by the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association.
New York Law School recognized Tariq’s commitment to leadership with the Dean’s Award for Student Leadership and distinguished service to the legal profession with the Alexander D. Forger Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession.
Tariq received her law degree from New York Law School and her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
