Sam provides legal guidance to a diverse range of businesses throughout all stages of their life cycles.

As a member of Verrill’s Business Law Group, Sam represents clients on a variety of matters such as formation matters, day-to-day operations, financing, acquisitions and sales, and divestitures.

Before joining Verrill, Sam was an associate in the corporate group at a global law firm.

Prior to law school, Sam worked as a paralegal specialist in the Department of Justice's Securities and Financial Fraud Unit.

Originally from southern Japan, Sam has since settled in Boston. He enjoys hosting barbecues, as well as traveling and visiting distilleries across the country and internationally.
