Adam counsels Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers, custom software developers, website developers, DevOps firms, mobile app and video game developers, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) companies, managed IT services firms, and companies developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology or incorporating it into their products.

As a transactional lawyer, Adam represents companies and their investors in financing deals and counsels buyers and sellers in business acquisitions. He also provides guidance to startups and their founders in establishing companies and fostering positive relationships between founders, investors, employees, and contractors. Adam’s work includes writing product contracts (e.g., EULAs, license agreements, API agreements, software reseller agreements), negotiating business-to-business tech deals, and designing privacy compliance programs.

In the financial services sector, Adam represents FinTechs, money transmitters, money services businesses, credit card networks and issuers, banks, and insurers in projects ranging from commercial contracting to compliance. He also advises businesses that use cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other blockchain technology.

Adam also has years of experience in commercial litigation, antitrust counseling, and white-collar defense matters in industries ranging from military contracting to pharmaceuticals to electronic payments.

Separate from his legal work, Adam co-founded a Los Angeles software startup, held legal and sales roles for a New York City tech company, and founded two other businesses. He has taken on various roles at a tech startup, including pitching investors, designing user experience, ensuring customer success, and managing development sprints.
