David Gorsky

David works with businesses and investors on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.

David’s practice includes advising clients on business formation, governance, debt and equity issuance, and strategic transactions. From startups to mature businesses, David helps clients navigate legal and business challenges at every stage of growth.

Prior to joining Verrill, David practiced at leading international law firms in New York, where he represented venture capital, private equity, and credit fund sponsors in connection with fund formation, co-investments, secondary transactions, and continuation vehicles.

David earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his B.S., cum laude, from Northwestern University.

Outside the office, David enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and exploring Portland with his family. David is also a lifelong New England sports fan, and a more recent fan of the Premier League.
