Jane is as an experienced Estate Administrator, working closely with the attorneys in the Private Clients group assisting in all aspects of estate and trust administration and helping to guide clients through the estate administration process.
Jane prepares and files documents for all phases of estate administration from the initial probate filing to closing the probate. She aids in the collection of estate assets, clearing title to real estate, obtains asset valuations, prepares estate tax returns, accountings, and assists with making distributions to beneficiaries. In addition, Jane also assists the attorneys in all aspects of guardianship and conservatorship matters.
Prior to joining Verrill, Jane worked for many years at prominent Boston law firms in the areas of estate and trust administration, estate planning, family law, residential real estate conveyancing, and practice management assistance.
Outside the office, Jane enjoys reading, spending time at the ocean with family and friends, and helping to raise funds for Crohn’s Disease and cancer research, both causes close to her heart.
