        Brendan works closely with clients to create thoughtful, personalized estate plans that protect their assets and achieve their long-term goals.

        Brendan focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration and tax planning. He also advises fiduciaries and individuals on all aspects of trust and estate administration and limiting tax exposure, including the preparation of sophisticated estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and fiduciary and individual income tax returns.

        Prior to joining Verrill, Brendan was a partner at a boutique trusts and estates firm in Stamford, Connecticut, and he previously practiced at a midsize firm in White Plains, New York. After graduating from college, he was a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Germany and spent ten years teaching in New York schools. A lifelong hiker, Brendan is currently President of the Board of the Adirondack Trail Improvement Society in Keene Valley, New York, a non-profit organization dedicated to outdoor education and trail improvement and preservation. Brendan currently lives in Bedford, New York, with his wife and three sons.
