Verrill Attorney Annabel Rodriguez Named Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

BOSTON, Massachusetts – Verrill attorney Annabel Rodriguez has been recognized as a Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and will be honored during the 2026 Top Women of Law Award celebration on November 5 at the Boston Marriott Newton.

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Top Women of Law program honors exceptional attorneys and legal professionals whose leadership, professional accomplishments, and service have made a meaningful impact on the legal profession and their communities. The annual award recognizes individuals who are helping shape the future of law in Massachusetts through excellence, innovation, and dedication to advancing the profession.

Rodriguez is the fifth Verrill attorney to be recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Top Woman of Law, including Verrill partner Regina Hurley who was named to the Circle of Excellence in 2019, which recognizes women attorneys who were previously honored as Top Women of Law and continue to demonstrate exceptional achievement, leadership, and ongoing contributions to the legal profession.

Rodriguez demonstrates that commitment through her leadership, mentorship and pro bono service. She served as the President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, where she worked to expand membership, strengthen the organization and enhance relationships among the Court, the federal bar and the broader legal community. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association White Collar Crime Steering Committee, and a member of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association Junior Professionals Committee for the Boston Chapter. She also volunteers as an attorney with the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts’ Lindsay Fellowship Program, mentoring students and helping make careers in the legal profession feel attainable and meaningful. Most recently, Rodriguez assisted in securing a favorable asylum outcome for a pro bono client through a matter handled in partnership with the Project for Asylum Immigration Representation.

Rodriguez is a member of Verrill’s Health Care and Life Sciences Groups, where she focuses her practice on White Collar Defense and Government Enforcement. She represents clients in federal and state courts, and government investigations, with experience handling matters involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, RICO Act,, and public corruption offenses. Rodriguez advises health care providers, businesses, and individuals in complex regulatory, civil, and criminal matters and is known for her strategic approach to navigating government investigations and enforcement actions.
