        Liz helps clients safeguard their assets and carry out their wishes through thoughtful, customized estate planning.

        She focuses on building long-term relationships with her clients, ensuring that updates to their plans reflect both their evolving goals and the current state and federal estate tax landscape. Liz also frequently assists clients in navigating contested matters in Maine’s probate courts, always with an eye toward resolving disputes without protracted litigation.

        Before joining Verrill, Liz practiced at a boutique trusts and estates firm as well as a mid-size firm in Portland. She regularly presents on estate planning topics for the Maine State Bar Association’s continuing legal education programs and co-authored two chapters in MCLE’s A Practical Guide to Estate Planning in Maine.

        A New Hampshire native, Liz now lives in Scarborough with her family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, golfing, and exploring all that Maine has to offer.
