Verrill Welcomes Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Attorney Elizabeth Bjorn

PORTLAND, Maine– Verrill is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Bjorn to the firm’s Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Group as an Associate, resident in the firm’s Portland office.

Bjorn focuses on building long-term relationships with her clients, ensuring that updates to their plans reflect both their evolving goals and the current state and federal estate tax landscape. Bjorn also frequently assists clients in navigating contested matters in Maine’s probate courts, always with an eye toward resolving disputes without protracted litigation.

Bjorn regularly presents on estate planning topics for the Maine State Bar Association’s continuing legal education programs and co-authored two chapters in MCLE’s A Practical Guide to Estate Planning in Maine.

Bjorn received her law degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire.
