Karen comes to this firm with over 25 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in various areas of law.
As a member of the trial team, Karen works closely with its attorneys by coordinating and assisting in all stages of litigation from inception through appeal.
Prior to her arrival at Verrill, Karen spent over sixteen years at a national law firm as a litigation paralegal in the commercial, bankruptcy and criminal practices of the firm. Before that, she spent over nine years at an international law firm in their employment law department. Her experience includes working closely with attorneys on a variety of cases from inception through appeal; drafting legal documents; managing and reviewing discovery; preparing various strategic and analytical summaries; performing legal and background research; preparing and accompanying attorneys at client meetings, court proceedings, including presenting evidence in the courtroom for trials.
