Lisa A. LaMarche
Chief Financial Officer
Lisa is responsible for managing the financial operations of the firm, as well as providing strategic insight and leadership to position the firm for profitable growth.
Lisa joined the firm in 2010 as Verrill’s first Director of Finance and was elevated to the firm’s first Chief Financial Officer in 2022. As a member of Verrill’s Senior Leadership Team, Lisa collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer, Managing Partner, General Counsel, and Executive Committee to achieve the firm’s strategic goals. She also works closely with the firm’s lawyers and oversees a large team of managers and professional staff.
Lisa has played a critical role in the firm’s growth through three recent mergers and business combinations. In addition, she has been instrumental in a variety of key system implementations, has successfully optimized numerous business processes, and has partnered with the firm’s General Counsel to build a specialized new business intake team in line with best practices for loss prevention and risk management.
Prior to joining Verrill, Lisa spent a decade in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, where she serviced audit clients in the financial and regulatory compliance areas; collaborated with clients to resolve complex accounting and business issues; and developed and delivered training content internally.
Outside of the office, Lisa can be found spending time with her family and exploring the incredible landscapes and outdoor activities that New England has to offer. In recent years, she has participated in several triathlons and athletic events, many of which were to support charitable causes. Lisa appreciates the culinary delight that Portland, Maine has become and enjoys traveling to new places and immersing herself in different cultures.
