Nicholas Magnani
Associate
Nick regularly supports attorneys handling construction, environmental, and real estate disputes. His practice includes conducting legal research, analyzing complex legal issues, and helping develop strategies that are both practical and effective. He has worked on matters involving land use disputes, environmental taking claims, regulatory reviews, government investigations, and other litigation-related issues.
Prior to joining Verrill, Nick served as a legal assistant at the firm, supporting attorneys in the environmental, telecommunications, and natural resources; corporate; and private clients groups. Through that experience, he discovered his passion for the law and decided to pursue a legal career.
While attending Northeastern University School of Law, Nick gained experience in a variety of legal settings. During his second year, he worked in the Family Law Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services, assisting clients affected by domestic violence with matters involving restraining orders, divorce, child custody, and child support. During his final semester, he served as a legal intern in Northeastern University’s Office of the General Counsel, where he worked on matters involving administrative policies, labor and employment issues, and contract review and drafting.
When he is not working, you can find Nick at Fenway Park cheering on the Red Sox (or his hometown Phillies if they are in town), on a squash court, or learning new recipes in his kitchen.
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is currently pending.
