National Conference of Bar Presidents Annual Meeting Workshop

Join Verrill attorney Jonathan Dunitz for the National Conference of Bar Presidents 2026 Annual Meeting, where he will moderate “Workshop 2B: CLEAR[ed] for Takeoff: Reforming Legal Education and Admission for the Next Generation.”

During the workshop, Chief Justice Gordon MacDonald of the New Hampshire Supreme Court and Chief Justice Valerie Stanfill of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court will lead a lively, interactive discussion of the urgent work of the Committee on Legal Education and Admission Reform (CLEAR). Bring an open mind to discuss how bar leaders, courts, law schools, and the public can collaborate to graduate a diverse new generation of practice ready lawyers. Key recommendations from the July 2025 CLEAR Report include findings ways to expand and improve mentorship, modernize accreditation of law schools, reimagine bar admission, and encourage rural practice to create oases in legal deserts.
