On April 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice issued an order placing FDA-approved marijuana products and state-licensed medical marijuana products into Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act—an immediate, targeted shift with real compliance implications for medical operators.

In the weeks since, additional clarity has begun to emerge around DEA registration expectations, timing, and compliance considerations for medical cannabis licensees. As the June 22, 2026, DEA registration window approaches, operators continue to face important, time-sensitive decisions.

This follow-up webinar is designed exclusively for Verrill clients and will provide the latest updates on Schedule III implementation and evolving registration considerations.

Join Verrill Partner Jill Cohen alongside members of Verrill’s team for a session that will cover:

        • Key updates on medical cannabis Schedule III implementation and DEA registration developments
        • Considerations for submitting a complete DEA application

        • Meet members of the Verrill team ready to assist our clients with their DEA applications
