Anya F. Endsley Elected as a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

PORTLAND, Maine – Verrill attorney Anya F. Endsley has been elected as a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
Fellows are selected based on a strong reputation, exceptional skill, and meaningful contributions to the profession through teaching, writing, speaking, or involvement in bar leadership and legislative efforts. To qualify for membership, a lawyer must have at least 10 years of experience in the active practice of trust and estate law, as fiduciary counsel with a fiduciary services company, or a combination thereof. ACTEC Fellows are committed to advancing and improving probate, trust, and tax law, as well as the related professional standards. Endsley is now one of six attorneys at Verrill who is an ACTEC Fellow.
Endsley is the Vice Chair of Verrill’s Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Group. She focuses her practice in all aspects of estate planning, probate administration and trust administration, and advises clients on tax planning, sophisticated wealth transfer strategies and charitable giving. She is also skilled at planning for shared family real estate and business succession planning.
Endsley is also the Chair of the Maine State Bar Association Trust & Estate Section, a member of the Probate and Trust Law Advisory Commission and a Director of the Maine Estate Planning Council.
