The article highlights how UMass Memorial Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts finalized a new agreement after a weeks-long public dispute. This resolution ensures that Central Massachusetts’ largest health care provider remains in-network for the state’s largest health insurer, preserving access to care for nearly 200,000 patients.

In it, Jim comments, “The federal government and the current administration has put providers in all health care in a very tough place. Expected revenue from Medicaid and other sources is all of a sudden going away. That will make the situation tougher.”
