Verrill Ranked Maine’s #1 Largest Law Firm by Mainebiz

Verrill has been ranked as Maine’s #1 largest law firm in the latest Mainebiz rankings. The 2025 list, published in the November 17 print edition of Mainebiz and the digital database for subscribers, ranks the state’s 12 largest law firms by number of attorneys employed in Maine. The data is from a survey conducted by Mainebiz researcher Stephanie Meagher.

In the article, Managing Partner Scott Anderson comments, “It’s nice to see that a lot of strategies that we’ve put into place to grow the firm are resulting in us really succeeding.”

The firm moved up from #4 last year, increasing from 74 to 90 Maine-based attorneys, reflecting our strategic growth and leadership in Maine’s legal market.
