Andrew Walsh

        Andrew is a highly skilled corporate attorney who brings a wealth of experience to Verrill’s Business Law Group.

        Andrew focuses his practice on counseling businesses of all sizes, from startups to large corporations, or their investors, on a variety of legal matters. He provides strategic advice on private securities offerings, shareholder matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, restructurings and other complex legal issues.

        He has particular experience advising investors (including family offices) and serving as outsourced general counsel for businesses in a variety of industries and areas, including blockchain, social media, construction, cannabis, artificial intelligence, consumer goods and private equity. Andrew also advises captive insurance clients with respect to formation, governance and regulatory compliance.

        Andrew is committed to providing high-quality legal services to his clients while maintaining a personal, collaborative approach. He works closely with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, and strives to deliver creative, practical solutions that help them achieve success.

        Andrew earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. Andrew also received his M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College while he co-founded an electronics trade-in service. Prior to his legal career, Andrew served as an adjunct English professor at a university in Quito, Ecuador.

        Andrew is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York, and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Digital Forum.
