        Mike practices in general civil litigation, with a focus on construction and other commercial litigation in State and Federal Courts.

        Mike’s experience in construction litigation includes defense of personal injury and property damage claims, mechanic’s liens and payment claims such as damages for delay, claims for additional work and differing site conditions. His work in the construction arena includes review and negotiation of construction and supply contracts and resolution of disputes before they rise to the litigation stage. Mike has presented at numerous seminars directed toward the construction industry.

        Mike’s broader general litigation practice includes a wide array of cases, including real estate disputes, business dissolution and shareholder disputes, and estate contests.

        Mike has experience in land use and zoning matters representing Towns and private parties, and has been listed by Best Lawyers in America since 2010 in several practice areas, including litigation of construction and land use and zoning matters, and is recognized for his general litigation practice by New England Super Lawyers.

        Mike has many years of experience as a mediator and serves as a neutral to assist parties in disputes that are as varied as his litigation practice.
