Four New Verrill Attorneys Recognized by Best Lawyers® 2025 for Environmental Law Practices

BOSTON, Mass. – Four Verrill attorneys were recognized as “Best Lawyers” by Best Lawyers® 2025, including one attorney featured on “Ones to Watch” list, for their environmental law practices. Best Lawyers introduced “Ones to Watch” in 2020 to recognize and highlight attorneys that are in the early stages in their careers, having only been in private practice for less than 10 years, but are already rising up and making a name for themselves in the legal world.

Verrill recently welcomed John Shea, Peter Durning, Thomas Mackie, and Peter Vetere to the firm’s Boston office. They previously led the environmental law boutique Mackie Shea Durning, PC and most recently practiced together at Burns & Levinson.
